Just outside Venice via boat we visited Burano know for lace making. This little island is beautiful and the people are very friendly. 7/03

We stayed five nights in Cinque Terra and it was the hit of our trip to Italy. 7/03

Peg looks over M . Cinque Terra is made up of five little and very old fishing villages on Italy's west coast. Each town is connected by a mountainous pathway. 7/03

Cinque Terra III

The cliff-side views are just awesome in Cinque Terra. You can also go from town to town via ferry boat or milk train. 7/03

Rome, Italy

We ate at La Carbonara in Rome where the recipe for Pasta Carbonara was invented. 7/03

Peg joins other tourists on the Spanish Steps in Rome. 7/03

The Coliseum, Rome

Peg is held ransom by three Roman soldiers outside The Coliseum. I told them to keep her. 7/03

The Vatican

Peg stands in front of St. Peter's Basilica at The Vatican in Rome. 7/03

Positano, Italy

We took the bus tour from Sorrento down the Amalfi Coast to Positano. We returned by ferry boat. 7/03
